Drive the thinking behind the largest product segment of the

Assist other Marketing Leaders in supporting organizational
strategies and objectives to drive growth of the Johnsonville
Sausage Brand.
Manage short term (annual) and long term (3-5 years) strategy and
planning for Fresh Dinner Sausage, including identification of key
consumer insights , development of marketing plans and leadership
of growth initiatives.
Drive continuous enhancement of product quality that strengthens
our brand equity and extends the gap vs. key competitors.
Build a strong collaborative partnership with cross functional team
members and agency partners.
Work closely with key members of the Sales team and directly with
customers when appropriate to drive success for both Johnsonville
and customers.
Manage Profit and Loss responsibility for Johnsonville Fresh Dinner
Sausage.
Develop and activate marketing plans that encompass all aspects of
the Sales and Marketing mix. This includes positioning, consumer
targeting, and a holistic consumer contact strategy. In addition,
these plans will also include close collaboration with the Sales
Team to develop and activate appropriate customer and retail
marketing efforts such as integrated cross merchandising
partnerships.
Key Deliverables for this position:
Work closely with cross functional team members (e.g. Sales,
Finance, R&D, Operations, agency partners, etc.) ensuring
system alignment and activation of brand strategy.
Build sustaining and collaborative relationships with key internal
team members and agency resources.
Take a leadership role in driving strategy insight, partnership and
program development for a key customer. Includes working with
Customer Focused Team to drive key programs that deliver HICS
(highest impact on customer success). Resulting in key program
development during year and achievement of CFT growth target.
Lead in the development of annual planning and long term vision for
Fresh Dinner Sausage
Manage and execute key Johnsonville Power Period plans ensuring
effective use of resources, flawless communication to the field,
great execution and resulting growth.
Implement learning from Segmentation/ Brand Health Tracker to drive
more efficient and effective targeting into JVL Creative and
Contact
Continuous improvement based upon personal learning and stretching
that results in lifting the skills of the entire marketing
team.
A positive, team-oriented attitude that contributes to the overall
culture of the marketing team and perception of the marketing team
within the organization.
Perform evaluations of key marketing programs - determine how to
best allocate and invest company resources to build the
Johnsonville Brand as a result of that evaluation.
Serve as the internal Champion for ideas that move business,
communicating succinctly and gaining the support of Sr.
Management.
Qualifications (What you bring to the job):
Bachelor s degree in related field and MBA is required with 5-10
years of brand/product marketing experience, ideally with a CPG
food brand.
Experience in addressing the needs of consumers and retail
customers while successfully delivering brand building
programs.
Comfortable in leading cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated success in growing brands.
Experience and success in leading collaborative cross functional
teams and presenting outputs to a broad range of internal and
external personnel
Ability to manage self and prioritize projects
Highly entrepreneurial. Consistent initiative and

Demonstrated ability to create new business and elevate existing
