I love this sausage pack for the holidays. Every Christmas I put together baskets for each family household. These sausages are the perfect size and seem to be really enjoyed by the receivers. My husband enjoys them so much that I usually have to buy extras for him. Excellent gift idea! Strongly recommend.

I dunno what I was expecting... but I know I was expecting more than this. I purchased the sausages as an extra gift for anybody I may have forgotten, and i got them in the mail last night. First off, these are small sausages. Maybe about 2" in diameter and 6" long, resembling fat hotdogs.

Secondly, you will NOT get these shipped to you in the pretty wooden case with the paper packing as pictured. They will come in standard cardboard shipping container. If you want to give these as a gift, buy a nice box and some wrapping paper.

Finally, they triple up on 2 of the sausage flavors. I received 3 summer saugages and 3 garlic summer sausages then 2 other random flavors which I cannot remember right now. (obviously it wasnt that exciting)

I did taste one of the regular summer sausages and the flavor was good. No complaints there and thats why I added a second star. But for the price paid, you can purchase the same thing at your grocery store (if they have a nice deli) and not triple up on two of the sausage flavors.
